Kim Pham is an innovative and strategic designer with superior knowledge of design and retail business. She is internationally recognized and have been awarded numerous achievements by acclaimed organizations in the industry. Her expertise is developing upscale customer focused lifestyle brands across all categories including: performance synthetics, knit tops, woven tops, pants, shorts, outerwear, blazers, sweaters, vests, and denim.
With a very unique international background, she was born in Vietnam and moved to United States at the age of 11, and have lived and worked abroad in both Paris and Shanghai. Having discovered her creativity at a very young age, she was compelled to express her artistic talents through fine arts, graphic arts, and design. Her artisan background combined with extensive experience in both womenswear and menswear, as well as accessories design is the foundation behind her success today.
EDUCATION
Pham holds an MBA focused on global fashion retail from the International Fashion Academy in Paris and Shanghai, as well as an Haute Couture Certification from Paris American Academy. She also hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design from University of North Texas, along with a minor in Marketing, and a certification in e-Commerce.
ACCOLADES
Among her most notable achievements include being named the Best of Show Grand Prize winner by the prestigious Fashion Group International, winning against participants across 44 universities. The prize – an internship in Paris – allowed her to shadow haute couture designers during Paris Fashion Week, along with extensive training in haute couture design at the Paris American Academy.
She was also chosen as a United States winner of the Vogue Talents IFF International Fur Remix Competition, for both 2018 and 2012. She represented the U.S. among 25 countries at The MiFur Fashion Show during Milan Fashion Week. Sponsored by Vogue Talents and the International Fur Federation (IFF), the competition allowed her the opportunity to work with luxury fur manufacturers Michael Pappas of Somper Furs, Dennis Basso, and North American Fur Auctions (NAFA). She was invited to visit NAFA headquarters in Toronto to meet with the company’s executives and receive in-depth training on the luxury fur industry.
